My Amazing Day of Amazing Things

Back in October, I had an amazing day!  It was a day packed full of amazing things and I have the photos to prove it.  Hind-sight's 20/20; I don't think I realized just how amazing this day was until I finally saw all of my photos, on my computer, all in one place

So, grab a Slurpee or a refreshing glass of juice.  Kick back, and relax, and I'll tell you all about it.

When I first got to work, on this amazing day, I found Le Bus hiding near our parking garage.  I still wonder if he got stuck and just couldn't get out due to a lack of mad driving skills.  Big stuff never comes back here!  Either way, it cracked me up.

I don't remember what happened at work because I didn't photograph anything, there, but I'm pretty sure it was probably amazing, too.

As I left, however, I saw the refreshing vitamin water truck pass while waiting at the red light.  I laughed because it looked terrible, with all of the perma-soot lining the whole side of the truck.  I imagined a refreshing spring of crystal clear water changing color as an army of horses made their way across, a short distance up-stream.

At that same red light, I looked over and noticed this beast!  An amazing, old Land Rover.  I popped off a few shots of its greatness and strolled forth.

This next one, I didn't even discover until I got the photos onto the computer.  I was on the freeway and just happened to snap a shot of the sun.  It looked pretty cool as it silhouetted the bridges, while I drove under them.  Hidden, atop the bridge, below the sun's bright glory, was the phrase "CALL A FRIEN TO DAY."  Also made me laugh out loud.

A bit further down the road, as I made my way home, I came across this Nissan truck.  Simple truck, sure, but upon further inspection, you will see why I found it a worthy photo subject.

And, finally, I pulled into my driveway.  I hopped out of my car and I noticed this little guy (or lady).  A katydid, hiding betwixt the bed and cab of my dad's truck.  Made for some pretty amazing shots, and helped to make my amazing day even more amazing.
